The Chennai Metro planning for connection from Airport to Kilambakkam and if all goes well the planning of work may start in 2021. The distance will be 15.3 km with 13 stations.Mostly construction will be on GST Road at an elivated angle that will cost less comparing to underground. On completion this will be a great bonanza for commuters as saves time and reaches places like Vandalur,Accenture and proposed Kilambakkam bus stand.
