Indian Football team managed to draw against Afghanistan after trailing 0-1 at half time. It was Zelfy Nazary put his team in the lead as he thumped the ball past goal keeper Gurpreet Singh in the 46th minute. India tried hard for the goal but it happened in the added 3rd minute of stoppage time Sieminlen Doungel headed home a cross from corner kick of Brandon Fernandez. Actually manager decision to bring in Doungle replacing Kotal paid dividends.
